How to Order Glasses

Ordering prescription glasses from Feel Good Contacts is quick, simple and convenient. This easy-to-follow guide shows you how to order your prescription glasses online through our website or app in a few simple steps.

Step 1: Select the frames

Browse our wide collection of glasses and select the pair you’d like to order.

Step 2: Choose the lenses

Click ‘Choose your lenses’ and select the purpose you'll use your glasses for. You can choose from distance, varifocal, reading, computer and non-prescription glasses.

Step 3: Provide the prescription details

Once you’ve selected the type of glasses, provide your prescription details. Make sure your prescription is up to date. You can enter the details, upload a copy, choose to send it later or just select the prescription you provided earlier when purchasing glasses from us.

If you choose the ‘Send Later’ option, you’ll receive an email from us requesting your updated prescription. Once we receive it, we will process your order.

Step 4: Select the type of lenses

In the next step, choose from different types of lenses, such as clear, blue light, photochromic and tinted, based on your lifestyle and vision needs.

Step 5: Choose the package and coating

Select from the different types of packages available, namely Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, which include different types of coatings to protect your lenses. Tick the box under the selected frame summary confirming that you agree to the terms and conditions and click ‘Add to Basket’.

We also offer hydrophobic coating, which is included in our Platinum package. Even if you select a different package, you can get the coating added to your lenses by clicking ‘Yes’ in the pop-up window that appears once you add your glasses to the basket.

Step 6: Complete your order

On the ‘My Basket’ page, proceed to checkout. If you’re a new customer, you need to create an account; however, if you’re an existing customer, you can simply log in. Enter your address details and complete your payment on the ‘Checkout’ page. You’re all set to receive your new pair of glasses straight to your door.

How do I upload my prescription?

Once you’ve selected the pupil distance (PD) and entered the date of your prescription, you can upload a clear image or PDF of your prescription (up to 5MB). Alternatively, you can enter your prescription or choose to send it later if you don't have it to hand.

What if my prescription has expired?

If your prescription has expired, you must get an eye test and have an up-to-date prescription before ordering your glasses. A prescription is usually valid for up to two years.

What is PD and what if I don't know it?

PD refers to the pupillary distance, which is the distance between the centres of your pupils. It's an important measurement that helps position your lenses correctly for clear and comfortable vision. Not every prescription includes a PD measurement. If yours also doesn't, it is best to ask your optician. Alternatively, you can measure it yourself using an online PD ruler, your old glasses or a mirror.

How do I choose the right frame size?

Choosing the right frame size is essential for the perfect fit. If you already wear glasses and are satisfied with the fit, you can simply check the measurements printed on the inside of the temples, which typically indicate the lens width, bridge width and temple length. Which lens package is best for my prescription?

The most suitable lens package depends on your prescription and frame choice. Customers with a stronger prescription may benefit from thinner, lighter lenses, as they offer greater comfort and a better cosmetic appearance.

Do I need blue light, anti-reflection or scratch-resistant coatings?

The right lens coatings depend on your lifestyle. Blue light coating is ideal if you spend long hours on digital devices, while an anti-reflection coating helps reduce glare, offering clearer and more comfortable vision. A scratch-resistant coating, on the other hand, helps protect your lenses from everyday wear and tear, making them more durable and easier to maintain.

Can I order varifocals online?

Yes, you can order varifocal glasses online with a valid prescription. Your prescription must include an ADD (Addition) value for your lenses to provide clear vision at near, intermediate and distance ranges. Simply select ‘Varifocal’ as your lens type while placing your order and provide your prescription details.

Will my lenses be thick with a high prescription?

Not necessarily. Although higher prescriptions generally require thicker lenses, it also depends on your frame choice and lens material. You can choose thinner, high-index lenses that are lighter, flatter and more aesthetically pleasing.
