What is 1 Day Acuvue TruEye?
1 Day Acuvue TrueEye is a daily disposable contact lens by Johnson & Johnson that is worn once and should be disposed of after use. TrueEye are made from a silicone hydrogel material, these contact lenses are highly breathable and feature Hydraclear 1 Technology for hydration, healthy eyes and clear vision.
1 Day Acuvue TruEye has no contact lens feeling to them and has been designed to make wearing contact lenses a more comfortable and freeing experience. They also offer the highest level of UV blocker to protect your eyes.
These silicone hydrogel contact lenses allow almost 100% of oxygen to reach the eye, keeping the eyes fresher for longer and locking in moisture for a comfortable wearing experience. This, coupled with Hydraclear technology, makes 1 Day Acuvue TruEye an excellent choice for those with dry eyes.

Is 1 Day Acuvue TruEye discontinued?
1 Day Acuvue TruEye has been discontinued by Johnson & Johnson, some prescriptions are available to purchase (subject to stock availability). Johnson & Johnson have recommended Acuvue Oasys 1-Day with HydraLuxe as a suitable replacement.
What is the difference between Acuvue Moist and TruEye?
Acuvue TruEye can be worn for a longer time than Acuvue Moist as they can retain more moisture throughout the day.
Acuvue Moist also differ from TruEye in their material and technology used. They are made from hydrogel with Lacreon technology, whereas Acuvue TruEye has hydrogel technology which attracts tear film and delivers a highly wettable, smooth lens to help the eyes stay moist. TruEye are silicone hydrogel lenses which means they allow more oxygen to reach your eyes.
Can you sleep in Acuvue Tru Eye contact lenses?
Acuvue TruEye has not been approved as an extended wear lens, and so, therefore, you cannot sleep in them.
